Off-page analysis
In the end, it all comes down to the strength of your field.
Basically, everything that was done in the first two steps
(during the technical analysis and on the page) is done so that your site would
be better and more visible for Google. And here we come to an off-page
analysis.
In a way, off-page ranking factors are the result of your
work. They show how poplar your site is, if people are linking to and from
which websites, is it trustworthy, etc.
Here we can start by mentioning the trust factor.
What does SEO confidence mean?
This means that a website is approved by the Google search
engine. In other words, if you are clear direction of all negative SEO
practices (so-called, black hat SEO) you will gain more confidence.
This is the first step you need to take before anything
else. Google is constantly improving and with it there is less of a chance to
manipulate the system.
Nevertheless, some people still do it. Being trustworthy is
not only good for the search engine; it is important for your overall
reputation.
Even with real-world businesses, being involved in illegal
practices can lead to disastrous long-term consequences for your organization.
Because of this, it is necessary to stay trustworthy and adhere to Google's
webmaster guidelines.
Then you need to make sure that your content is popular among
readers and other bloggers.
In the end, everything we create on the Internet is for
other users. With that in mind, good website consistently see increased
traffic, more and better links, more social mention, more site time and smaller
bounce rates by visitors.
In a way, off-page analysis should show us how others react
to our site.
Selected bloggers should see an increase in all these stats
simultaneously. If you start getting a lot of links and your social engagement
stats do not improve or if they fall, it may be a red flag for Google as it may
signal that you are doing something fishy.
